Fans are hoping for some new content featuring their favourite purple dragon later this year ![]() Leaks have previously suggested that Spyro 4, reportedly titled ‘Spyro 4: Mystery of the Dragon’, is going to be released in Q4 of 2024, however the same leaks said it would be announced in October last year which was, tragically, not the case. The release was received positively, with over 10 million copies sold as of 2023, and only increased the desire for an entirely new game even more. There hasn’t been any new Spyro releases since the 2018 Spyro Reignited Trilogy which was a remaster of the first three games in the franchise. However, it wasn’t the image that sparked hope but the text accompanying it, which simply said “2024 motto”. The account tweeted a picture of Spyro with the phrase “You gotta believe” written next to the popular dragon.
